Every plan includes
It all comes with your service — nothing extra to buy.
- The equipment you need — everything to get you online is included with your service and professionally installed. Nothing to buy, nothing to rent.

- No data caps, no long-term contract — just a straightforward service agreement. Installed equipment stays UMCE property and comes back if you cancel.
- Room to grow — start on the plan that fits today and move up whenever you like.
Lifeline
Working to bring Lifeline savings to our community
Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of home internet for households that qualify. UMCE is working to become able to offer Lifeline — and we're excited about what it will mean for our community. When we're able to help people enroll, we'll reach out to everyone who has asked us to keep them posted.
When Lifeline is available through UMCE, households may qualify if their income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or if someone in the household takes part in one of these programs:
Programs that can qualify a household
- SNAP (food assistance)
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance
- Veterans or Survivors Pension benefit
Tribal programs that can also qualify
- Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
- Tribal TANF
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
- Tribal Head Start (income-qualifying)
Becoming approved to offer Lifeline is a process that takes time, and each household's enrollment can take additional time after that. There is nothing to enroll in today — but leave your info and we'll reach out the moment we're able to help. Only one Lifeline benefit is allowed per household, and eligibility is always decided by USAC.
Want us to keep you posted about Lifeline?
Leave your name and a good number. Our Digital Navigator — a real person on our team, not an app — will reach out when Lifeline becomes available. No cost, no commitment.

Questions
Good to know
Is this really faster than what I have now?
Yes — it's brand-new fiber built right to your home, so it stays fast even when the whole house is online and even at busy times of day.
Do I need to buy a modem or router?
No. Everything you need to get online comes with your service, professionally installed at no extra cost. There's nothing to buy and no equipment to rent.
Will the Wi-Fi reach my whole house?
The included equipment provides strong Wi-Fi for a typical home. If you have a larger home, thick walls, or an unusual layout, just talk to us and we'll help make sure it works for your space.
What is a Digital Navigator?
A real person on our team — our Digital Navigator — not an app or an AI. They help with getting on the list, questions about service, and (once it's available) applying for Lifeline savings. Someone local you can actually call.
Do I need to qualify for Lifeline to get on the list?
No. Anyone in the service area can get on the list. Lifeline is a separate federal savings program we're working to be able to offer in the future — it's not required, and it's not available yet.
What does it cost to get started?
Your monthly plan covers your service, and your equipment is included. We'll confirm any one-time setup costs as service reaches your area, and our team will walk you through exactly what applies to you.
When will it reach my home?
We're building now. The best way to find out is to get on the list — we'll tell you the moment your area is ready.
Who runs this?
UMCE was established in 2018 to modernize and replace the community's older internet system. It's a Tribally chartered business, 100% owned by the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and tasked with serving the community.
